This demonstration walks users through the process of entering a mediation record in IHRS. It also highlights the important role that special education mediation can play in resolving disagreements between parents and school districts.

Districts are encouraged to discuss the benefits of mediation with parents and families. Mediation is a free, voluntary, and confidential process that provides a safe and supportive environment for families and educators to work together to resolve concerns and reach mutually acceptable solutions.
